Our emotional approach
Kathryn respectfully challenges her clients to begin looking inward at thought patterns, feelings and how these impact everyday actions and behaviors. She asks meaningful questions that promote movement through the stages of change, while emphasizing past solutions and successes along the way. Kathryn will teach new coping strategies as needed, such as: mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, challenging irrational thoughts or core beliefs and developing healthy boundaries. Kathryn strives to decrease unwanted symptoms while empowering her clients to take back control over their lives.
